Welcome newcomers and oldtimers. I look forward to teaching you! Please let me review what was talked about at the meeting last Tuesday (March 17th, St. Patrick's Day).
- Class begins March 17 and will meet at 1630 on every Tuesday up to and including April 21st for my section. The entire course is 48 hours in length. Each class is 4 hours long. Each instructor will teach their own section, and may differ from my class time, hours, materials, homework requirements, etc. Please get the specific details from each instructor.
- There is homework for every class. Homework counts as part of the class time. Homework will involve usually reading, writing, some listening and thinking.
- Class time will focus on speaking, listening, and thinking. It is extremely important to be prepared for class. If homework is not consistently done, we will have to revert to a 4 hour class, lasting from 1630-2030.
- Class format will follow a Reading Circle format. Each week a reading assignment will be given, and you will prepare to speak about it using the role sheets that will be given to you. The book for this time is Who Moved My Cheese?.
- Class members: 남태호, 김혜경, 김혜진, 장지혜, 변현희.
If I have forgotten something, please add it to the list.
I look forward to working together. The class is not easy, but I hope you find the class useful and helpful in your goal to improve your English skill.
